Our history

Our beginnings

Icon Metal Fabrications Pty Ltd began operations in 1996. Michael and Stephen Pribula, founders, utilising the experience they gained in the industry over the previous 20 years launched the company to provide excellent service and quality to the construction industry. The company started with 5 employees, an office and a workshop in Granville specialising in miscellaneous metalwork. As the company grew, it became apparent that the future growth of the company required further expertise. In 2016, Icon Metal Fabrications became part of the Teaminvest Private Group of companies and rebranded as Icon Metal.

today

Now, with 30 years of experience in construction, Icon employs 50+ staff, offering a range of services including architectural metalwork, structural steel, miscellaneous metalwork, glass, cladding, rigging, project management, design, fabrication and site installation.

Despite our rapid growth Icon maintains a small-company culture. Our people are our most valued asset. We invest in skill-building such as training and apprenticeships, and support our staff’s development throughout their careers.
